The shoe fits...for some reason this disease made it's initial attack on my feet 20 yrs ago and hasn't let up on them since. In so much pain, it was easy to just go outside and stand barefoot in the snow to numb them. Then one winter night I couldn't take the pain anymore and was at the end of my rope and considering my options. Whilst standing barefoot in the snow, trying to drown the pain with some gluten-free beer, a spaceship appeared and out came some little green men . That was the last thing I remember until waking up in the snow, and noticing I now had white fur and big paws I've since been living in the woods with numb feet year-round and a nice kick to my step which has enabled me to stay one step ahead of the AS that started this whole thing.
