Hi Kathryn, Thanks for your help - yes I have heard of Glucosimine! Right! I have also had surgery on my knee a few times and fluid removed. As I said, I don't do alot of exercise because I have to mind my knee and make it last! Can you do any sort of exercise?? I was admitted to hospital in Perth for an AS physio course over 3 weeks and I managed with most of the stretching exercises but only lasted 5 days with the 1km walk included each day - before my knee blew up to the size of a balloon and I needed rest and a cortisone shot! I have a great big knee brace with metal hinges which was made for me - don't wear it much as it is very heavy and cumbersome. I'm planning to visit the Pharmacy today and buy some Cosamin DS or something like it. Thanks for the tip! Love from Debra.
