Thank you for all of the cyber hugs and support. I asked my husband to come with me to the rheumatologist. He refused the offer. I have a walking stick, and he knows that I only use it when I am feeling very sore. Using it about his head sounds like a good idea.
My blood test results prove that I am officially in menopause. I have a very thorough doctor and this is something that he has constantly checked. At this moment I am feeling rather elated as it sinks in that his conservative approach to the adenomysosis has paid off. I am now clear of this condition. Yippee!! It shows that a hysterectomy to clear the problem would have been unnecessary.
The rain has cleared and the sun is shining. My upper back remains sore, but my lower back is feeling less stressed. My feet continue to hurt but not as bad as yesterday.
I have been suffering feet problems since I was a teenager. For that reason I do not wear high heels. Sometimes I wear men's shoes because they are wider in the toe box. I wear orthotics, and by rights I should not hurt in the feet if I am wearing the orthotics. I have a lot of shoe problems because women's shoes are just not wide enough for my feet. I have a tendency to retain fluid and this causes more problems. Perhaps my flare was due to dehydration because I did not get enough fluid during the day.
