I have been dealing with the EXACT same problem with the dry cough for over a year! X-rays were negative, etc. I was told it could be from acid reflux or asthma, even though there is really no wheezing. I can hardly talk without coughing at times, which is real fun answering phones at work. I do try using an inhaler when it gets real bad along with sucking on what ever I can.
Personally, it is my opinion that this is just another thing that the Doctors don't know exactly how to diagnose much less fix!
