I know how frigtening this is. I am so sorry.
One of our daughters started having motor seizures and petit mal seizures at age 7. After many many tests, scans eegs, etc. she was diagnosed with a seizure disorder. The scan showed a small scar at the back of her head that could have been a birth injury or when she was hit in the back of the head with a swing when she was 3.
She was put on medication and was followed very closely. Her medication had to be changed as she grew to keep the right dosage in her body. Until it was under control, no bike riding, tree climbing, anyting that would put her in danger.
She stayed on medication even though she was controlled with the dr. hesitating to take her off of it through puberty, through HS and graduating, through college and marriage and finally took her off of it. She teaches school and has 2 wonderful chldren and has had no more problems. With each pregnancy, she delivered early because of eclampsia and I just was so worried because I thought this would be the time if she was ever going to have any more seizures and she didn't and hasn't since and the youngest is 14.
Just wanted to encourage you that we have been through all of the tests and concerns and after learning what was happening, it was as easy to deal with as any of the other problems we had raising kids. She also had a growth on her eyeball at the same time and had to have surgery. It was on the edge of her iris and on to the conjutiva and they thought it was malignant and we of course had put it togther and just knew that was the cause of the seizures. The biopsy came back as 'unknown'

but it didn't come back and she is doing well now.
I pray the same outcome for you.
Hugs and Blessings.
