i need to catch up here, but quickly, maybe try zanaflex, only stays in the blood stream 6 hours total. about an hour after taking it, it kicks in including the drowsiness. the drowsiness only lasts about an hour, hour and a half, but the muscle relaxant itself is good for about 5. it's not the best one for all day relief, but i find it great for: 1. getting to sleep 2. procedures like US, MRI, dentist, etc 3. kind of resets my body so i don't need the effects all day long, just once a day to reset things, then under the special circumstances like in #2 or if i'm having some major issue, then i'm usually not functional anyway and just want to sleep. but really all kinds of muscle relaxants out there, just find the best one for you. the only other one i have tried was the old flexeril, i was zombie marshmallow man on it 24/7 (well, maybe only 24/3 as i went off it in almost no time, could not function on it!)

happy swimming in your split pea soup! roll
