cyclobenzaprine, that's flexeril. i believe its the oldest one out there, at least its an older generation of drug. the positive is that it is cheap. the negative is that there are much better drugs out on the market now. i think the half life of flexeril is like a million years or so! ok, maybe not quite that long, but it was a long long time, for me anyhow. the side effects just didn't justify the good effects for me. but zanaflex, much better. i've heard others talk about skelaxin too. and i know there are others. but i've been so happy with the zanaflex (generic now so cheaper) that i never thought much about any other. but the flexeril, i think that should only be given to bed ridden patients because i wasn't really of much use on it, certainly couldn't drive on it, or work. but that mushy muscle feeling was kind of cool! cool2 then too, everyone's different when it comes to drug side effects.
