though its never good to get a cold / the flu, at least its much shorter lived than the AS / psoriasis and thus you can start to feel a bit better sooner. that happens to me too  i'll b thinking, why on earth am i so sore and achy and then boom, i get sick and say "ah ha! that explains it!" good luck at the rheumy's! and feel better soon.
