My friend just competed in her first 1/2 tri-athalon last August. She has bad knees, so she walked during the running part. And the swimming was in Lake Washington ~~ Brrrrr.... eek2

The pool I swim in is 25yds x 50 meters. Even though the metric system is the official USA measuring system, we still have inches, feet, yards, and miles EVERYWHERE. laugh2

I have indeed noticed that if I pay more attention to turning that I don't get hurt as easily on the turns. But all in all ~~ yep, the long course is WAY better. rainbow
