Molly, thanks for the tips for husky driving, hopefully riding will have given me strong shoulders. We do lots of walking in Scotland and been to Aviemore/Cairngorms several times. We have been lucky enough to be there a few times when there was sufficient cover to cross country ski complete novices straightlines fine, turning uh no never quite got the hang of it.

Been away for the weekend

Fri eve swam 400m
Sat: 7 mile walk up mountain had the lot sun, mist, hail, rain and snow wonderful plus 400m eve swim
Sun: 8 mile walk up mountain (not enjoyed to start with one bit as too much Chardonnay consumed the night before in the hope of combating hidden starches in hotel food). Took me till almost the top to sweat it out!

Today stiff neck, must be from hauling the rucksack

No dairy hard cheeses occasionally and homemade ghee
