Great! You have a plan! I try to answer the first set and more later.

Suger are ok in Moderation ..The idea is high protien- low carb.

Coke is hell on bones. the body take minerals from bones to buffer the acid. Sweet tea will probably not hurt unless you drink alot(more than a couple glasses a day..sugar in moderation)

Products rarely list starch content. You must know which ingredients are starchy

Almost all vegies are ok (except potatoes and corn of course) some contain some starch but it is usually minimal and if eaten raw-...is hard for the Klebs. to get at

I love ham prepared that way. I usually do it on a grill and use honey instead of brown sugar.. it should be very OK

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! When i go out i ussally eat as you suggested. when they ask how i would like my potatoe I ask if i can substitute for a veggie or cottage cheese or whatever. If they say no i tell the not to bring a potatoe at all as I do not want any.

Fasting is hard if you are under a lot of stess. Better to try when alone (if ever) if you cannot commit to it totally. The first and second day are harder as your body adjusts. Be sure to ask the Dragon Slayer about the Dr.Garten book and study up on this before you try it.
