LOLOLOL

Apologies for hijacking the thread Adriaan.

I have also been told to shut up laughing so loudly in the office - Mike I cannot add anything to that!

Adriann,

They have roller extension handles which can reach quite a distance. I have painted my ceilings a number of times using these. They allow you to step back from where you are rolling and keep you from having to look directly up at where you are painting. My neck is 100% fused and I dont have too much of a problem.

What about the Mr. Bean method?

Cover all the bits you DON'T want painted... then stick a firework in a gallon can of paint and light it!!

Of course, this was only done on TV... and we all know that you can't believe everything you see on TV right????

Yes... that did work well... but please be careful that pets and small children don't sneak in as it happens... it wrecks the finished product... you have to do those spots again...

Or take the door-knob off, wrap it up, and put it in the fruit bowl with all those wrapped up apples and oranges as I recall!!

Hi

You could try these Prism type glasses. I use them so I can see the monitor when I am on the computer or even to see the Hot Air Balloons when they fly by. Have a Look see the attachment.

I did it last night .Use a long handled roller (4 feet)and roll only in the direction back and forth ahead of you .My neck is fused but my back has some bendability to it. I also took pain pills to get through the task.Lie on the floor occaisionally to inspect your work.

I recently painted some of the ceiling in our house, I had to give up and get my girlfriend to finish it. But what I did is hire scafolding and put the platform as close to the ceiling as possible. This will allow you to lay on your back and paint the ceiling. Although with our ceiling we had to sand back and I found laying on my back for long periods became very painful. I had difficulty walking for awhile afterward.
This may work better for you. I also covered a pillow in plastic bags and used it for my head on the scafolding.

Good Luck

Thanks for all the good ideas I might have to coon one of my nephews into doing it for me. I like the Mr bean method the best as I could do the walls the same colour. Can't lie on my back so I might get a office chiar on wheels and wrap it in gladwrap and tilt it backwards so I can see the ceiling and use a long pole.
Thanks
Adriaan
