i have an inflamed soft tissue mass at the cerribual-thurasic juction, dr says it is caused by micro fractures, anybody heard ofr this?

Osteoporosis causes microfractures of the vertebrae and we lose height...half a foot or more in my own case and I was not especially tall before. I'd look up at you if it were not for the kyphosis. Breast inspector doesn't pay well...and hardly works these days; girls are getting taller!
I got a macrofracture recently, too--pseudo arthrosis; an extra vertebra--waiting for the disc to form (ok...NOT). It will not heal because the force vectors that caused it originally have not changed. Looks like it's titanium implant time.
