Hello there everyone,

I have been taking steriods for the last two month. From the 18th March they will be giving me these injections. I am a littlle worried as to what effect they will have on me. From reading yuoor comments I see people seem to get the full benefits of this product and the need for it and no other.

Have been told they the treatment is very expenses and still they do not know the long term effects of it. Is this the best drug available to fight AS? I have tried God knows how many different drugs and still the pain (steriods are the only thing that has given me pain relief).

I feel that I have got to a point where by this drug needs to work. I am 25 and feel like 50, mobility is crap, quality of life - SH*T!!!. Need to be well to start living life again, spent to many years a bit depressed. Why me???

Will let you know how I get on with the injections

Stephen

Glad to hear you are back on Enbrel, I have just finished
my 16th injection and it has helped the pain in my back
but I still have bad neck pain. Has helped with the stiffness
and my Psoriasis is completely gone. I will take the Enbrel
compared to how I have been feeling for 17 years. I never
thought I would ever see this much relief. The long term
effects, will deal with those when the time comes, just
great to be able to be more mobile and can do some small
chores for my Mom around the house, I finally feel like I
am accomplishing something again in my life, just the
little simple things, that most people take for granted.
And I am thankful my insurance covers the total cost,
and no co-pay.

Good Luck

Mike

Hi All,

Just took my first Enbrel injection today. I sure hope it works as well as it seems it has for most of you all. I am a little worried about the possible increase in infection studies. My doc just wrote down 25mg/ml 2ml/week. I would like some advice from those taking it whether to inject both doses once a week, or one injection every 3.5 days?

Thanks in advance.
