My plans went a bit awry. Seems watching golf and playing golf were o m agenda but 3 very eloquent little ladies preferred watchng their Dad garden while they worked the hose. I dug and planted, they fought over whose turn it was to ceate a mud arena about me.
Then swimming was on the agenda. A local pool with not many areas deeper than 3 feet. Smiles and laughs abounded. I didn't bogey a hole since I didn't play any. Tiger and Phil seemed to survive the trauma of not having me wander about Baltusrol with sagacious advice and I won a trophy better then the winner of the PGA shall receive. Hugs in triplicate and then one for luck from a very lovely lady.
As for Pete letting me win. Just help me finish all 18 and I'm happy.
For the Doc and her soon to be spouse who take birhtdays seriously, are you guy getting married on August 40th???
Birthdays, well they are a reminder that on this day 43 years ago I chose to come on out and join the party. My little Juliana was the last of the three to be pulled out from the safety of her Mom's tummy and almost didn't join us. Being last left her drowning in her fluids and such. THe lovely Diane always asessed that as Juliana's angst over showing up and joining the show here. Funny 'cause that little of the three is all ham and all show. For me AS and all, I figure I'm here, its a partyand I don't know how I got the invite so aches or not I may as well share some laughs. Thanks to all you ASkickers who have given me cause to laugh or smile or think.
John thanks for being the birthday guy. It never hurts to see a nice word or two to close out an already splendid day.
