I'm needing information about the adjustable sleep number foundations.

Has anyone had difficulty using the frame from a sleigh bed with the adjustable foundation. How does the risers work? Do they raise the foundaton or the bedframe?

Hi Betty,
We have a Select Comfort Sleep Number bed(king size) and have it on a Sleigh bed. Did not have any trouble. But tell me what the risers are? The legs underneath, we did not have to use, just layed it on like a normal mattress, I believe.
We absolutely love this bed! I don't like going on vacation because I have to leave my bed and my husband is the one with AS.

Yes, the risers are extra long legs so that the mattress is above the side rails. Our bed is being delivered this week and we have not purchased the actual bed yet. We wanted to make sure that the mattresses will work with the bed.
The foundation that we picked is adjustable. Due to it being adjustable, we were told that the headboard and footboard can not curve inward and that we have to allow plenty of room for the foundation to move.

Glad to hear that you did not have problems using a sleigh bed and that you like the mattress.
