Hi Everyone
This site is so inspirational and informative thank you everyone for being here for sharing and caring.

With having kids etc I lost Yoga from my life, and that was hard as I have done yoga for 15 years and I have taught for 10 years. Of course this is when I was diagnosed with AS - I am lucky in that i have no pain, just some discomfort and a bit of stiffness. I was diagnosed thanks to repeated iritis. Well two months ago I finally kicked my own butt back into gear and have been doing yoga every day - some days the kids are on me, under me and all around but I do it and I have had a huge improvement in my upper back mobility that was deteriorating quickly. even if I am too busy, lying over the exercise ball really is amazing for opening up my chest and getting my upper back and shoulders to stretch. The main thing is through yoga I am back in touch with my body.

So I am getting ready to had south in a few days so i may not be around until we get back In January - yipee yes My husband , Jon, and our two little girls are off to NZ for 4 weeks holiday/ journey and then to Australia for Christmas with my family. My first Hot christmas in 6 years, I cannot wait. I love the Canadian Christmas because It really is like the postcards I saw as a child but it will be so awsome to be with my family and for my Dad to meet Amelia
my youngest(20 months) and get to know Sophia (almost 3) a bit more.

so wishing everyone a very wondeful festive season and Year end however you celebrate and I will be in touch in the New year

Kylie

Hiya,

I'll give you an early welcome to Ozzie land.....the weather is a bit strange at the moment so make sure you pack a little bit of warmer gear....one day 30C next day cold and very wet...there's been snow/hail on the outskirts of Melbourne and NSW country areas in the last week, very bizarre.....

Safe travels to Kylie,

Glad to hear that the yoga is helping, I try to stretch twice daily and notice it helps a lot with stiffness.

Kylie, I'm so glad to hear you've begun your yoga again. It's always wonderful when something helps, yes?

You have a wonderful holiday in Oz. Take lots of photos, as your KA family will want to share them.

Hugs,

Kat
