Hi just another updae to post, I tried some more foods recently. I can now tolerate white potato but I just eat it once every few weeks for now. This is in addition over time to pumpkins/squashes, then carrots, then garlic/leeks/onions, then sweet potatoes and rice and now white potatoes. I try foods out every so often and it seems over time my starch tolerate is increasing. The last thing is gluten, I did not get AS from a bread roll I ate but I did get a little diarrhea so one hurdle to go.

Congratulations to your progress Phil!
How long have you been on the NSD? Are you symptom and medication free now?

Best regards from Sverige

Hi Phil - thats good to hear. I have been on NSD for 8 months, the last time I tried to have starch, I could not tolerate it, that was about 2 months ago. Right now I'm trying to kill off all the fungus overgrowth, I'm hoping when that is gone, I can start making some more progress in the diet and health arena. Right now my diet is very limited, no starch and no sugar or dairy. I just wake up every day and say, I have to kill the fungus. I don't even think about eating starches, so I haven't had any As pain in a long while. I feel great, but I would love to have a bowl of cherries or strawberries!

Keep it up, its good to hear someone else in benefiting from the diet.

Good to hear Phil, sounds like you have come very far with the diet. Best wishes on continued improvement.
