Well I made it through the night, was'nt esy. My kids insisted that we stay out for 2 hrs and after the first I must have lost a foot in height. I was'nt tired, just sore as heck but nothing compared with the pain I had when I tried to lay down that night. My body had formed an "S" shape and would'nt straighten out. I spent the whole night sitting on my sofa and today I feel like I was run over by a Mac truck. My kids had a good time and they filled two bags with treats, that's all that matters. Now if only I could find that remote.

Steve, glad to hear the kids had a good time. Sorry to hear you're paying for it in pain, tho. You rock Sir Steve for being such a great dad that you would do this with them even knowing what might happen.

What did you all go out as?

By the way, check out the party forum.

Hugs,

Kat

Glad to read you found a way to have a good time with the kids. It ain't easy if your bent and rigid, I know, but that walk on Halloween is so worth it with the kids.

Glad you had fun...I sure as bleep didn't While spinning a fake spider's wed over the entry way, my foot wasn't paying attention and missed a step on the ladder, which made me fall and land flat on my situpon. Which now requires a it's own situpon...a pillow This morning it feels like my ex did what she threatened to do years ago

Cool.
Except for the pain!

Sometimes I think my body is an inflammation nation.

AS for 20 years
HLAb27+, i think there was talk a negative result at later date, but never confirmed.
Have been on many different anti- inflammatory drugs (naproxen to arthrotec to vimovo). Now off all prescription meds except occasional advil or tylenol.
Don't underestimate the power of icing (I bought the biggest ice pack i could find and it is good at numbing pain).

I know you're hurting, but I'll bet this was a memory maker. Your kids will always remember this Halloween and have warm thoughts for their good ole dad who stuck it out with them. When they get older, they will really appreciate what you did for them. Way to go, I'm impressed!

Oooh, just thinking of this hurts. I've done this more than once, so I know what you're going through, and I wouldn't trade places with you for anything. I hope your pain is short lived and you are up and walking around again in no time.
