If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Interesting Article on sunlight, vitamin D & the positive aspects. Sunlight I get at least an hour a day in the sun, probably more and as a child way more - FYI, we grew up in outback NSW and my brothers and I rarely wore t-shirts - one brother has had 22 'suspect' pieces of skin removed and Ive had 1. The other brother none Speaking of which, im off to the beach avagoodun patrick

Patrick,
about five years ago I got a membership to go to a tanning bed for a month, then two and then a third month. A few visits my hip pain was nearly gone and before the first month was up I could walk without pain in them at all. Then three years ago I sat outside on the deck to listen to the radio an hour or two a day which helped with joint soreness and pain in the shoulders and elbows. Last summer I would spend an hour to two hours a day sending out there listening to the radio tanning which got the same reaction.
I get these Keratoses which are scaly red blotches on my back on each side they get larger during the fall, winter and spring. They weep if they get irritated, but the doctor says they are normal for my age and nothing to worry about. This passed summer they were the biggest they had even been and from previous experience UV light causes them to get smaller of go away after the summer is over. Just knowing the sun drys them up is a plus in my book but the joint help is a bigger plus.
I worked outside most of the time so I had plenty of sunshine to be in which has always made me feel somewhat better.

I cant really do the sun....I do get out when I can in the spring with my flowers, garden and so on but my eyes are so sensitive to light that alot of times my sunglasses arent enough.
I just started taking 1000mgs of Vitamin D and have been feeling a bit better.

Lisa,
My eyes are extremely sensitive to light so I wear dark glasses when I sit outside. I can not wear my regular glasses when driving at night as the oncoming traffic blinds me.

Living up here in Alaska, a lot of people have problems with the lack of sunlight. Several years ago I bought a light which is made for this purpose. During the winter months I sit in front of it for 15 or 20 minutes every morning and it does help.
