If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

This probably belongs in the Women's Forum, but here goes anyway: Your face does not produce moisture, only oil. People with oily skin need to moisturize, though they usually think they don't (because their skin is already oily). However, your skin thinks it is dry if you are not moisturizing right, and it tries to produce "moisture" which it cannot. So it continues to produce more oil. My mother and I both HAD oily skin until we started using (oil-free) moisturizer. It has made all the difference in the world. If anyone is interested, I have used many, many kinds of moisturizer, and would be more than willing to make recommendations ******** Kristin

Thanks for the info, Kristin. So that is why my soap works so well on my face. Because it is not as oily since I started using it. Hugs, Cindy

Cindy, You're welcome! I try to share that info with any and everyone... it really saved my face! Before I was adamant about not using moisturizer, I thought - NO my face is already too oily, but it really, really works. I am glad you found something that works for you! Moisturizer too has added benefits: you can buy all kinds of different formulas, with sunscreen, wrinkle-fighters, etc. I am amazed at what they come up with! ******** Kristin

Ian, I am sorry... I was sexist! I take it back. I was just thinking, usually the men around here get grumpy when we talk about beauty products! But honestly... I think men should use moisturizer too... though usually it's deemed "too girly" (at least by my boyfriend -- but I catch him using mine all the time!!!). Now they are making some especially geared towards men -- in dark, manly packages So... do YOU moisturize?? ******** Kristin

Angie, I don't have time to read through everyone's responses, so if my suggestion is a reiteration, I apologize in advance.
Anywhoo, I've had eczema my whole life and the only thing I've ever found to help with the dry crackiness is Keri lotion. I use their Sensitive Skin fast absorbing version and since I started three years ago, I've not had a problem. My fingers, my elbows, even the soles of my feet are crack free!
Hope it helps.
Hugs,
Kat

I refuse to discuss anything that has to do with what i may or may not do with hand lotion Seriously, no, I will wait until it comes out in the "Manly" styles ************************************** When life gives you lemons, ask for tequila and salt

Hi Stephen, I'm sure this has been mentioned somewhere else in this thread, but just in case I wanted to tell you (if you didn't already know) that psoriasis is an often-associated condition with AS. It's presence is a contributing factor to a diagnosis. I had mild Eczema as a child (up to about 9 years old). I just seem to have a whole lot of auto-immune conditions and I didn't count this one when I said a while ago that I was under investigation for my 4th auto-immune diagnosis (which thankfully wasn't proven) but if I included Eczema I could say I had 4 and was going for my 5th Not a record I would wish anyone to attempt to break...... You brought back a memory, Loz, I too had mild eczema as a kid. I'd forgotten all about that, it cleared up by the time I was 12, I was the only kid in my family who had it - - and the only kid who ended up with AS. Interesting. Cheryl Dogs love it when you leave your clothes on the floor
