Thanx! That would be great for you guys too it sounds! So does your mom have AS? Weird but my sis just moved to Ohio and her husbands cousin is a Dr. And says how rare it is to have 2 AS patiants in one family! Everything I've read states how common it is. Plus my sis has chrones and lupus and bechetes(sp). I've even had someone here on this post say her diseases are impossible together but I have seen the evidence to which they got the diagnosis. What the??? This is all weird! Just throwing stuff right now I guess but I am curious to know of other family relations and diseases!

I think I have memory loss, I just can't remember.

Seriously though, have always had memory problems - so maybe it is AS related. Because of the medication - especially the Lyrica - the memory loss is much worse.

I ache, therefore I am

I am keeping my fingers crossed for your Mom too Zanni! I noticed Remicade starting to work on day 4 after my initial infusion (but this varies for everyone) and it's been a wondrous few years of huge relief for me ever since! Memory loss? Funny, I'd never heard of it as a potential side effect before but who knows. My memory is terrible but it was prior to Remi too.

Best of luck to Mamalama, let us know how it goes!

Thank you! I would like to but its still going to cost me $650+ a month! I can't afford that for one medicine. That's nuts! I have 11 diagnosis! Everything takes meds to keep my life tolerable. Not comfortable, tolerable! I think the government needs people like us for financial reasons. Like meetings with beer and tv air coverage! Lol bleeping government! I hope your mayo visit is beneficial to you! We want a play by play! I'm actually tired this evening so I'm gonna try and go nite nite! Take care

Hi Zanni,

I will keep my fingers crossed for your Mom...hopefully as you know I am on Remicade just had my 7th treatment at 500 so we are keeping our fingers that this will kick in for me.

I started at 300 and have not gone beyond 4 weeks, then we had to go up to 400, really didn't want to do the 500 was hoping less would work so that we could keep the 400 and 500 for later on but my body as usual didn't agree.

This is day 3 and I am already beginning to tell a difference.

Hugs,

Lisa

Hi Lisa,
It's mamallama, I am on day three at 300. Typical I guess. Have been feeling really different as tho my body knows something is happening to it, but just doesn't know what yet! But I tolerated the first one and look forward to the second on the 23rd. I am soooooo hoping it kicks in for you soon. It's nuts to look so forward to something that takes its own sweet time-huh?
Thx for the input and keep us informed about you too-k!
