So I had my fifth shot of Enbrel on Tuesday, woke up this morning dizzy (can't drive, feel unstable on the feet etc.). I have had problems with benign positional vertigo in the past (before AS and Enbrel), and this feels just like that. My sinuses feel full. Anyone have this experience? I know sinus issues are an Enbrel side effect, so maybe my sinuses are flaring and throwing my equilibrium off. I am seeing an ENT on Monday as my rheumy says that is the likely cause. Other experiences would be helpful. I am hoping that this does not mean that I will need to stop the Enbrel. Thanks!!

First things - are you feeling any benefits to the enbrel yet very exciting stuff!
When I first went on enbrel, it felt like I had the beginnings of a terrible head cold, but it never did amount to anything. Looking back, I think it could have been a side effect of enbrel, but you never know.
It probably was a good idea that you checked this out with your GP, and even better that you're seeing an ENT. Let us know how it goes.
Get better soon! hugs!

I had the same problems with Humira in the early stages.
I had a couple of falls, was rather dizzy & had a strange feeling down the left side of my body. I had to stop the Humira for 2wks while they done an MRI scan on the brain.
They found that the Humira was mimicing MS. I started the Humira again after the 2wk rest & I haven't had that problem again. As for the sinus problem I took some telfast, it helped heaps.
Hope they get you sorted out soon.

I haven't experienced any dizziness with Enbrel but I have fallen a time or two here lately but that's more of an all of a sudden type thing, I'm not sure what's causing it...I guess the brain scan results will let us know...but that is interesting and makes me wonder...hopefully it's just an adjustment, I would hang in there and hope that it goes away, I know my body needed two full months to adjust to the MTX...good luck...

OK thanks. I am going to an ENT on Monday. Are you on a different biomed now?
