Seb,
Yes, there is the possibily that you flare from those foods. I too have some suspicions for pineapple and some berries.
But, on the other hands, do not be in such hurry to make medical affirmations on your condition.
In your first post you said you have IBS.
Take a look here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irritable_bowel_syndromeand see what IBS means, and MORE how it's diagnosed - colonoscopy, lactose intolerance tests, exclusion of any inflamatory bowel disease like Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's Disease, Coeliac and more.
So there's a lot of work before a doctor will say that you have IBS.
Regargind candida.
There's a possibility that you gut suffers togheter with your joints. For some of us, me included this is the case.
But in you bowels live many more potential harmful bacteria, it doesn't have to be candida that makes you sick.
Maybe, being the fact that you gave up other foods, you overexageratted with some fruits. And for most of the people, even healthy ones, eating fruits without some limit finish in gut reaction like bloating or gas, or pain. And by the way, supermarket fruits are crap, most of it it's picked up green and it ripens in an unnatural way... eating them without reastraint will make anyone sick.
Pick up only the real ripened ones !
So - anything you do or anything you eat - do it with caution, keep a food journal in wich to write anything you eat, if possible write down when you cross the line and eat more than you need just because you like it... and also write there your body reactions - from every time of the day.
Then it will be easier to decide what aliment you tolerate or not at some point of time.
IF any food makes you sick, avoid it, even if you read in this forum or elswhere about it's qualities. Maybe it has them, but on the other hand if you react from it (like garlic) probably it's not for you. Yet.
