If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hmmm I thought as much, Sue I was not convinced one way or the other with the demo. No-one was there to sell things as such though, it was more of a selling your sport kind of thing. The demo was done by a mountain biking cycling team and they swear by the bands to help with balance. Thanks for sharing your experience, Sue. Perhaps they will end up being more of a fashion accessory than a sporting aid!

... but you do ride a bike sometimes i've noticed, is that a different bike? or is it the road bike and it just hurts to ride it.
Yes I do ride a bike and I enjoy it. I have a mountain bike...I call it the "tank". It has big tires, a comfortable seat, and I sit upright. But, I miss my road bike. It's a "biker" thing.

It's a "biker" thing. i think i know what you mean. my husband changed his "road bike" to upright, but i didn't. though its a lot of stress to my wrists and elbows, to ride my tenspeed, i'm afraid upright would not be as good for my upper back. and i did rent an upright bike to see how it felt and i didn't care for it, i like my tenspeed better. i cushioned the seat, cushioned the handlebars, that makes it better, but still looking for better cushioning.

I just wish I could regain some more flexibility of my upper back and neck so that I could comfortably ride my road bike. My rheumy thinks upper body exercise will help, but it seems like a very difficult accomplishment. You can do it! just start with one minute per day, and do an extra minute until you work up to where you want to be! Go TEAM!

how is your sister doing now? hope she is recovering nicely! Surgery was long, but a total success, no chemo, no colostomy. She's having fevers and pain from the lupus and being off her arthrotec, but she walked 6 times today. She makes me feel like a sissy, because she's been so sick for so long and just puts her shoulder into it and goes!
