I upgraded....
I type now from a new computer that I built today.
Windows 7 and music programmes don't go together! Blew my $400 soundcard and my 2 big music programmes, Sibelius 6 and Cubase 5 died.........Tried everything. hopeless.....and I paid real cash for the pleasure!!!
Anyway is only related to AS because it has buggered me.....I have been at it since 6 am and still going............ah well mayhap all will be well now I have put trusty vista into new comp..........
Anyone seen mig?

My experiences while in academic pursuits during the intraequinoxial lunar cycles included the discovery of the ancient Babylonian rites of astral projection, invisibility through continued cerebral conditioning, and random numerical procession of statistical prediction and probability functions had a profound affect on my technological possibilities, while also being very taxing for me due to incorrect translation or transcription and provided the involuntary rescission of my abstraction and cogitation of late denarian and vicenarian retirement, due to budgetary impoundment combined with extenuating leverage, though I did learn something in the process--I know diddly squat about computers!

I had to have a computer expert come over to fix my computer (kinda the same problem you're having) he fixed it right away and told me my ID 10T wasn't working. Still haven't figured out what he meant. Any ideas?

What??? do you mean asking if anyone's seen me! I TOLD you that I had to work today, you silliest of clots!  Pre-warned in advance you were... so there. lol Oh dear, but how could it 'blow' your Sibelius and Cubase?! Oh no, that's terrible Alan! Hmmm and I'd heard that windows 7 was suppose to be good actually. If your soundcard is dead then that is a BIG problem, (except now at least it matches your mic cord! lol). You are going to have to .........type! Hope all will be well with Vista back and that you are feeling much better again tomorrow.

Yes...this really may be an ID 10T issue! I LOVE Windows 7 and wish that Windows Vista never happened.
