If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I agree Erica - it is hilarious. And I hadn't seen it before.
But... wish I could move like that!

Erica - I really know how you're feeling and it is lousy. Your picture really caught the feeling.
The improvement I've had on methotrexate has taken me out of that dreadful early morning pain. I'm not pain-free but I don't limp when I get up and I don't need narcotic pain meds now.
If you're not on NSAIDs, what treatment are you trying at the moment? Are you on a DMARD? Or a biologic?

A couple of years ago I developed an anaphalactic response to NSAIDS, complete with swollen face and compromised breathing and heart problems. And because of the ANA+ deal, I can't take any sulfa drugs for anything. And... because my mom, all but one of her siblings have died of cancer - and two of my siblings have already had cancer, the MD's won't consider DMARDS... I take Cymbalta for chronic pain, oxycodone for breakthrough pain, and cyclobenzaprine & clonezepam at night for spasms. I'm also on LDN therapy which has really helped with mobility and peripheral joint pain. Really, I was just so frustrated when I woke up this AM. I'm better now. Off to the pool, then to see 5 little kids who think I am the most awesome great aunt in the world.

Wow Erica - it's tough to have so few medication choices. Without a DMARD or a biologic, your risk of joint damage/fusing increases. Do your MDs feel that all the DMARDs are a cancer risk for you?
Glad you're feeling better than you were when you got up this morning.

Glad you're feeling better than you were when you got up this morning. Thanks. I was feeling SOOOO good after swimming that I decided it would be okay to let my niece's adorable GIANT baby climb on my legs and back and leg wrestle him a little bit. Not such a good plan. Now I'm back to where I started, but in a MUCH better mood. My understanding of the whole med thing is that with DMARDS vs. cancer risk, it's a quality of life choice for people like me. So far I have truly miniscule joint damage ~ barely any really, and my inflammation levels are always almost nil, so... I can put off DMARDS unless those conditions change. All three of my sisters have a lot of joint damage and have had replacements and multiple surgeries as well as fusing. I feel lucky that all I have is pain to deal with. Hugs Wendy

Today I swam 700 meters. I was creeped out and couldn't concentrate, because there were about 20 parents hanging around on the pool deck with their street shoes on. And most of them tracked their nasty grossness right through the shower rooms. Ick! Is it really so difficult to remove one's shoes and socks? And they don't make their kids shower before swimming either, which is also gross. Okay, I'm done with my rant. Stepping down off of my soapbox now.

wish i had taken before photos, maybe i can get them from hubby, though its hard to appreciate the magnitude of their work without being there, or an ariel shot perhaps! can't even climb up in a tree for a shot cause they demolished most of them. easy to appreciate the phrase "busy as a beaver"! one of these days i'll get photos of my walks up here.

Got a few days off work so I'm not sure if I'll get to the gym which is five minutes walking from where I work but much further from where I live.
So I'm focusing on walking - 2 1/2 miles again today in 40 minutes.
