Everything that involves moving our joints counts!
Have you seen this?

Exercise for arthritis is all about movement. It doesn't have to be aerobic. Of course aerobic is good, but we have to MOVE IT OR LOSE IT! cheerleader

Awwww.... sanks smile But, to tell you the truth I am sick of being so strong. It's a bad habit that's dogged me my whole life. I was 40 years old before I learned to take help from other people for any reason. Interdependence is a skill set that I need to learn more about and practice persistently. rainbow

Hiya Lisa, walking a cat, yup, crazy eh! I thought for sure it would prove to be a failed experiment. He is his own boss too and was NOT amused! Luckily, there were so many neat distractions for him in the forest (he is a city cat) that he kept forgetting he was on a lead until he suddenly need to pounce! The slightest hint of a pull on his little harness and he would yell at me!! so I had to be quick and paying close, constant attention. There are worse ways to spend a morning hour. smile

I've only let him out once up north on his own, with 66 acres of forest to explore... and he headed straight for the road. crazy2

Hey Erica, no, I hadn't seen that one yet. Ha, I am not going to be moving quite like that any time soon, I suspect! smile Just a wild guess!

But yep, movement is good for us! yes

So you are seriously telling us that you swam 1.61 miles in mini 18 foot lengths?

237 laps times 18 feet times 2 (back and forth) = 8532 feet. Divide by 5280 (feet in a mile) = 1.61

Ummmmm????

what, now I gotta do math! eek2

I did try figuring it into kilometers, and this is what I came up:

18 feet x 2 = 10.9728 meters

10.9728 meters x 237 laps = 2.6005536 kilometers

2.6005536 kilometers = 1.6159090909082223 miles

(give or take, lol)

I think it took me about an hour and 20 minutes yes
