Here's another suggestion for when you try adding dairy back -- instead of using milk or cheese, follow Light's lead and try home-made yogurt with the triple benefit of very low levels of lactose, probiotic bacteria, and protein that tends to be more easily digested.

Light makes her yogurt out of goat milk, which is probably the least likely to cause problems with food intolerance. A food sensitivity test revealed that my allergy to cow milk does not extend to yogurt, so I've been able to stick with cow yogurt -- nice because I can boost the calories by adding cream (never did find a source of goat cream in local stores).

Speaking of food sensitivity tests, I highly recommend taking one to help figure out which foods to experiment with next -- see which nuts or dairy foods are more or less likely to upset your immune system.

Hello Lindy, At a mere 5'7" tall, I'm not sure my contribution is fitting in this post. I lost too much weight when I started with my diet too. The oily fishes helped but a red meat that has a lot of fat is just too hard to digest. Even fishes are a challenge when you are trying to heal the gut. Sardines helped me with in this. The mercury levels are lower and servings are very exact.
Also, I like good rich beers. Micro brews work best, I always stick with lagers and no ales. If the alcohol does not irritate you too much, as it would me at times, beer is a good source of a ton of calories. It has been referred to as "liquid bread". The brewer's yeast eats the starch so you don't have to. Moderation is the key though. You are healing and alcohol can be detrimental to your progress.
Good Luck,
ike

Thank you very much for your suggestions.

Because there are many people as thin as me in Japan, people
don't think I have eating disorder or I am too thin.
They do think I am weird becasue I don't usually eat rice.

I try making soup out of fish heads but I dont like the smell
of fish head. They are very fishy.
I eat sashimi every day. They are supposedly good.
But I doubt fatty fish will help to put weight.

I eat pistachios once in a while. Almonds seem to cause
flares.

Thank you again.
