If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

today i forgot to put on my flip flops before taking a shower and now my heels are really bothering me. a good reminder how useful flipflops in the shower are if you have foot or heel pain. when i wear them every time i take a shower, it keeps most of the heel pain at bay. don't wear them even once and the heels complain.

Unfortunately, I know exactly what you mean. If I want to keep my plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis at bay I have to wear sandals around the house and in the shower. I never go barefoot. I'm actually a little depressed right now because my old faithful birkenstocks finally gave up on me and fell apart. I've been wearing those sandals around the house since 1998 believe it or not. Best money I've ever spent in my life. I guess I'll have to break in a new pair.

Thank you for that tip. My dawg's are killing me right now. I wheel myself around in a wheelchair right now trying not to walk on them. I am going to get my flip flop's out now and stick them by the shower!!!

I also wear shoes constantly due to PF and tendonitis. Not in the shower, though. And I need a new pair of Birks. I've had the old ones for 8 yrs and the cork is beginning to separate from the footbed around the edges. Breaking in a new pair....ouch! on that toe bar bumping the bottom of my toes. LOL.

Thanks, Sunny, but sole is fine. Footbed is separating from the cork. And the cork is crumbling a bit. I probably should have gotten the cork treatment stuff when I bought them. I will do that with the new ones, when I get them.

Rumble, you can probably still get them repaired if you want: http://www.birkenstockexpress.com/Repair/repair.cfmMine are beyond repair or I would do this. It takes a long time for really break in those footbeds and can cause some achy feet too.

With a discount, I can get new soft footbed sandals for a little more than the repair price, so I'll pass on repair this time. But I WILL get the sealant for the cork this time. Maybe the soft footbed will break in sooner...hopehopehopehope.

i'll have to look for those. tried on the traditional ones and they hurt my feet so bad. but maybe the new ones will work. i know how some of you swear by the birks.

We call "Flip Flops" Thongs over here!
Thongs are quite popular, but I find if I wear them for too long they destroy my back.
