Steve,
You are the man! I am not trying to scare you!
But I do wish, some time, I could just stay up with you on a more level ground and run for a mile....
Some day, Steve, I will look you in the eye and exchange some manly words.. keep up the tremendous example..

took a 15 minute walk at lunchtime, took another 10 minute walk around 4 pm.......

good thing as i completely slept through my evening, "just before sunset" nearly daily walk......fell asleep at 6:30 pm, didn't wake til 11:30 pm......boy, i know i was tired, but.........needed a little rest before making an exam for tomorrow, guess i'm rested, LOL! but now of course will be up again til ~ 3 am and then back up again at 7:30-8:00 am for work again............guess that was much more than a nap, heck that was more sleep than i sometimes get in a "good" night's sleep.......one way to sleep, become extremely sleep deprived! more walking tomorrow!

hello friends!
survived another phase B class.
Wed stats: Krav Maga phase b Level II: 150 minutes.
our instructor wont be teaching us anymore. He'll be back in november but for now we have 2 great subs. One is only about 19 but he's a level 4 instructor and a really great way of explaining himself. They took us outisde yesterday evening and it was really nice to be outside. Not too humid too!
Hot shower and some Tylenol arthritis. Hands are still swollen but nothing new with the AS monkey on my back. no

Hoping to pick up my new boxer female pup today too! She's a brindle with flashy white markings. 7 weeks old but a big pup from what I see in pics! Get to meet her today! my 90 lb elephant of a boxer boy will be so excited to have some company! rainbow
Go team Go!! You all give me hope to never give up and keep on trying and keep on chugging along!! clap

Got up this morning and rode my bike - 2 miles round trip - to the pool and swam 1,000 yds.

Ran 8.5 miles this morning 1 hour and 20 minutes. The marathon is one week away. Feels good to run in the mornings now, it is nice and cool. I did not see any cats this morning, but I didn't run in the canyon. This was the last long run before the marathon. Just a couple of very short runs to keep the legs loosened up.

had a 3 hour symposium to sit through today. and of course all that sitting, especially in some one else's chairs, is evil. so did a lot of pacing today in the back of the room, instead. probably about 1.5 hours worth all told. distance?
