Well, as it turns out the biopsy was positive for cancer...my weight is down to 122.5, if I fall below 120 pounds, I cannot have the surgery...

Michelle, sorry to hear what you're dealing with. It's so difficult to deal with more than 1 major illness...becomes second guessing of symptoms, meds, drs, etc. It's confusing to sort out so don't have regrets OK? At least you realized that something was different. Your mind is probably spinning but once the drs have a strategy, you will be able to think clearly and charge forward. Best wishes

Oh Michelle, SO sorry to hear that there is yet another uphill battle for you to wage war on!  I know you have a great team of doctors looking out for you, and you have proven yourself to be ONE RESILIENT LADY - I hope they are quick to give you some answers and develop a good plan to tackle this thing by the horns!  (no horned creature avatars to insert...) Try and keep up the weight with shakes with extra everything added if your stomach can handle it - otherwise ask a dietician for some pointers? Take good care of yourself my Friend, and we will be sending all the love and positive vibes we can muster your way, that's for sure!  Keep us posted as we will keep you in our thoughts,

Michelle - so sorry to hear of this Dx. Dear Lord as if you haven't got enough on your plate. Shift the burden to the other shoulder and press on - but TG you have a good medical team to rally round and work out a programme of attack on the 'C' beast. Shattering to have to face. Many prayers winging over to you my dear.

Meds: MTX since Oct 2009, 15mg/week. Cimzia-restarted after 2 yrs away.

Im so sorry! I just dont know what to say I am in such shock...I just hope they can get a treatment plan in order and get you to feeling better and beat it!

Oh Michelle...sorry to hear the news. I hope your doctors can come up with a good treatment plan for you. I don't know how you are with dairy but ice cream is the fastest way to gain weight. Heard that from more than one doctor.
