Once took a training session on fundraising. The speaker said, in reference to accepting donations from companies with bad reputations (tobacco, chemical comapanies): "There's only 1 thing wrong with accepting tainted money--it 'taint nearly enough!"  That's the only thing I remember from the class! If you google "is gamb" then it immediately suggests "is gambling a sin" as the #1 query. Clearly there is much confusionation on the subject  and millions are searching for the answer. The lottery is legal but printing up your own funny money is not!

Good advice...decided to go anonymous! My family bought the ticket so to prevent them from commiting a spiritual infraction, I agreed to take accept the loot. And Lon, to protect your honor & integrity, just send me a mailing address and don't ask questions when you start to receive piles of cash. It's so nice to be in a position of offering friends & family support.

I've ordered up your very own snow plow/front end loader to save your back from scoopin snow. You will enjoy the new found power the only heavy equipment can convey. Then, I will help you turn your little congregation into one of them big megachurches with attractions that will draw families from Montana & N. Dakota.
