gave a new grad student a campus / building tour. 2 hours, ~2.5 miles of walking. Good job!

Wednesday 21th: Knut, er du norsk? Vi har to barnebarn i Norge og en mer i februar  Takk! Jepp, det stemmer. Hvor kommer dine fra? Wednesday: 3pm: 30 min. on my new spinning bike. 6pm: 20 min. warmup, 6,5km slow jog at 43 minutes and 15 min. swimming to cool down. 11pm: 20 minutes spinning. 20 min. prone and general strenght excercises. Have a nice day

This morning the sky was a little hazy so I went to the gym to workout. 33 minutes on the elliptical. Funny that is was hazy this morning the fire that close to us is out now. All the fires burning are south of us by a couple hundred miles, but I guess the wind is blowing the smoke north.

Yesterday I swam 650 yds Today I swam 750 yds Sooooo much fire & smoke in Colorado.  Keep on keepin' on team!

Yesterday I swam 650 yds Today I swam 750 yds Sooooo much fire & smoke in Colorado. Keep on keepin' on team! The west is on fire. We have ashes dropping on us today, and lots of smoke blowing over us.

Yesterday I swam 650 yds Today I swam 750 yds Sooooo much fire & smoke in Colorado. Keep on keepin' on team! The west is on fire. We have ashes dropping on us today, and lots of smoke blowing over us. We had a huge lightning and thunder storm last night. It seems to have knocked down our two close fires. In the mid 90's my family's neighborhood burned in CA, so I feel very sorry for all the people over on the eastern slope who have lost their homes. The Rockies are filled with 2/3 dry timber because of the pine beetle infestation. It's like 80ft kindling from Wyoming to New Mexico. Fire is no good.
