Got up at 5:30 this morning. I decided it was to dark to run outside so I went to the gym. I spent 30 minutes on the elliptical. Then I ran for about 1.2 miles out side. My GPS died again right after I hit the 1 mile mark. I guess I need to start saving for a new one.

The spelunking hat would protect my head if I did fall. I do have a runners cap with lights on it. That is what I used last year while training for the marathon. 2 of the 4 lights don't work anymore. I may look into getting another one of those.

20km on the bike.

I am a night person, the thought of getting up at ungodly hours to do exercise will remain that - thoughts. If it ever happens I will gladly eat my hat.
