my "laxative" seems to be cabbage. I know janet said that her doctor said cabbage was for the pigs (Sus scrofa domesticus), but also seem to be for me as well. If I don't have some beans and some cabbage every day, I seem to get constipated, but if i have those two things, all seems right with the world. I'm sure we all have our thing that works. and my worry that i had gone too far the other way, pretty sure at this point it was just an intestinal bug going around as it only lasted ~ 2 weeks, and others around here were complaining of being under the weather as well.
