walked 1.5 miles all told and that was too much.

strained a tendon/ligament earlier this week stretching up on my toes to reach something. bothered me a little then. more now.

this area was torn in the past, so a weak spot. couldn't walk for 5 months last time, couldn't take a walk or do any other exercise for a year.

hoping that it won't get worse. may have to keep asking parking / security at work to park my car til they get it that a handicapped person may not be able to walk a quarter to a half mile. argh, universities!

i go to the mall, the grocery store, the doctors, the local museum. in all cases can park 50 feet or less from the door.

but universities think that if we can go to school or be gainfully employed, then we are 100% healthy. either they just don't care, or they are so out of touch with reality it ain't funny.

Sue - good job keeping moving. cheerleader

I was just talking to my sister about the disability issue. Despite having lupus, RA, and Shogren's, her husband refuses to believe she is too sick to work.

This mornings run 9.08 miles in 1 hour 32 minutes. The deer hunt started today so I decided not to go up the canyon. I was thinking there would be a lot of traffic in the canyon. Some day I will make it back to the canyon.

Such a lovely time of year. So before I headed into work to make up an exam for tomorrow, We took a walk in our back field.

My right thigh is totally messed up; feels like i strained a muscle stretching it while it was tight due to the spasms trying to protect my inflamed SI earlier in the week. Then the walk on friday strained it much further.

But found if I walked ridiculously slowly, it was ok. So, that's what I did. 3/4 of a mile, 30 minutes.

Was good to walk slow, could really observe all the changing foliage, the rose hips, viburnum berries, autumn olives, milk weed, remaining asters, pretty leaves on the ground.

A robin off in the distance was the only bird we heard. Pretty quiet compared to a few weeks ago when I guess all the birds were migrating through.

Gonna ice and heat this muscle and see if I can calm it down.

Good job walking even though your thigh was misbehaving! cheerleader

Slow and steady wins the race! yes

I swam today, but I lost count of my laps. I think I swam more than 1/2 a mile, but can't prove it.

Go TEAM! clap

I walked for 20 minutes in the snow! Yes, it is snowing in Tadoule today. Blizzard actually. By evening when I went for my walk, the snow calmed down; I thought the wind did too, until I got closer to the lake. Tomorrow I will have to wear boots and a coat instead of a vest! Winter has arrived.

I also am about to do 30 sit ups before I go to bed. I need to get back into ankle/calf exercises for Physio. Haven't done that yet. Motivation needed more!

Walking and stepping up on the curb as I go..

I walked / hunted part of three days.

i did very well. We were at the 8,200' level.

it was such a beautiful sight.

I continue to walk by myself and with Lin, 20-40 minutes a day.

I am back on oxycontin, but am walking..
