I'm a newbie since you were here, but welcome back. Know what its like living alone. I don't have the same kind of problems as you, but really limited mobility and by the time I'm finished my work day don't have any energy to do ordinary household tasks or leisure activity. But, these messages boards have saved me. So much easier to rant on here than try and collar unsuspecting friends and relatives who really just don't understand. As well as the wealth of practical info - a lot I would never have thought I needed, but has helped heaps.

Seems like it doesn't take long to fit into here, so I'd say in a short time you will be feeling right at home again. Just keep on posting.

Thanks John, I used to frequent the site on a daily basis for a couple of years but then I just stopped...not sure why.

My posture has gotten so much worse over the last couple of years. Now that my spine has been fused with metal in the mid to lower part of my back there is nothing to hold my upper body straight so I just droop. It's getting hard to do anything these days, even walking is difficult. I don't have much family near by but I do have my two teenage kids stay with me a couple of times a week and every other weekend. They are what keeps me going in life.
