Me, too! Boo winter! laugh2 Good job walking! cheerleader

Yesterday I swam for 40 minutes, but lost count of my laps. blush

So here's my question about Yoga - Can I still do the exercises if I can't sit? confused2 I must admit, this looks relaxing though. rainbow

there are a lot of yoga poses that don't involve sitting. And the philosophy of yoga is to do what you can, it is not a competitive sport, like so many things.

So, do the sun salutation, do the standing poses, do the laying down poses, etc.

its all good. rainbow

I'm going to do 10 minutes of Spark People yoga every day. I might not do it well, but I'm going to try to learn!

Good job running! cheerleader It was 66F here today! What about your side of the hill?

Because the weather was so gorgeous I of course totally overdid it today. grin

Yesterday I danced to Gangnam Style videos on YouTube. I'm going to learn the dance and then astonish my 14 yr old great nephew. Of course I can't do all the leaping about, but I think I can do a fairly good fake.
grin

Today I walked 2 miles and swam 750 yds. Went to the park with some friends. Then came home and ate a big bowl of everything I'm allergic to and now I'm in some PAIN. What a goofball. Oh well. smirk

So check out Nathan Barnatt's newest dance video. I don't know why, but this guy just makes me so happy.

Congrats on the Valentines grandchild Erica!

Sorry I haven't been on for a while hubby changed computer stuff so all remembered passwords lost and then so busy, which is no excuse.

Fantastic time in Norway did our two day dogsledding with no aches or pains to boot I was worried I wouldn't cope very well. A fantastic experience.

Spent a week in the Highlands of Scotland a couple of weeks ago and what a difference a year makes. Last year I managed one mountain walk with much discomfort and tears not just down to plantar fasciitis. This year 4!!! mountain walks all over 3000ft and fighting fit at the end hooray. The weather was absolutely fantastic for once.

1st walk 6 mile cycle 61/2 mile walk
2nd walk 6 miles
3rd walk 8 miles
4th walk 8 mile cycle 6 mile walk

Last week two two hour rides and one 11/2 hour ride

This week just a one hour ride as the horse I ride has her own problems frown She has just had new corrective shoes on but I am not convinced they will help.

Hubby and I are trying to keep fit by walking up our hill at lunchtimes I only managed to join him once this week 2 miles.

Gangnam style! my son is mad about it as is everyone at his school it must be all the rage everywhere.

Good idea to surprise your nephew. I just might do that for my son he would be speechless if I did. I have always loved dancing just don't do it anymore.

Personally not keen on gangnam though and it would show my son is more likely to collapse in laughter just like he doesn't like me singing along to music (I didn't think I was that bad but he has perfect pitch....!)

erica,

i certainly appreciated his dancing more after watching the TED talk you linked in the other thread. when he talked about it being a dance of exuberance, then i could feel that when i watched it.

i've been doing a bit of walking in between writing my paper, but not keeping very good track of it. Still know i'm walking largely due to this thread and my awesome exercise buddies! cheerleader
