Yeah it's a nice place, will hopefully be heading up the mountain next week. Always a couch to crash on here if you're in town.

Canyoning sounds fun. I don't know those guys but is a pretty small place.

G'day Hendrix - I'm just over the ditch on the "main island"  I moved here 10 years ago but my 10 year plan now is to move to your beautiful country! Love it there!! Sorry that you had to find us - hope that the NSD can give you some relief and you can find some health professionals to help you out. Let us know how you go

I lived in Dunedin for a few years, now living in Wanaka.
JEALOUS JEALOUS JEALOUS!!!  Hubby and I fly in to Queenstown in 4 weeks and cannot WAIT to go skiing up at Cardrona - visited Wanaka last year - stunning!!!

Had to take the small-world chance. Canyoning is the dumbest "sport" ever. Thus, my love for it. It is "the bad idea that caught on", to quote a friend. If I ever make it back, and chances are good I will - eventually, I'd be happy to talk with you about taking you out. Here's a canyon Alain was trying to convince me into while I was there. What? This is news to me. I thought the diet was needed for life. Please elaborate. It sure would be nice to be normal again at some point.
