I'm so excited! My doctor is considering letting me try low dose prednisone daily! 2.5-5mg. YIPPEE!
I've just had the best time with my grandsons over the past weeks, and so I finally realized that if I want to live my life and have fun, I would have to deal with it.
I asked her to try low dose morphine again, and if that didn't work, then try one of the "big guns" like oxymorphone.
It must have shocked her, because I'm always whining about hating narcotics. But she said we maybe could try it, and if it doesn't work.... Prednisone! YAY!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ....okay....anyway... on to my exercise tally for today.
My 9 yr old grandson beat me in a 50 meter race. That was bad enough, but he was swimming fly and I was swimming crawl!
So, today I decided to start upping my speed laps.
In total, I swam 1500 yds, 175 of which were as fast as I could crawl.
I walked a mile as well, which was not my most brilliant idea in 92F heat w/ 37% humidity.
I´m doing great. I am virtually on holiday for the next while and have been doing loads, yes loads of exercise recently since my torn calf muscle cleared up.
I am getting through 6000-7000 metres a week in the pool and am doing 30 km on the bike a week aswell. I feel great and am I glad I have this break.
LOL You are too funny. I am not going to be setting any records for a while, that is for sure. I can't start PT for 4-5 months. I really need whatever exercise I can get.
