Had to run mid-day yesterday (didn't wake up in time for early morning run, thunderstorms forecasted for afternoon and evening). 95 degrees of humid hell.

Scheduled to run 15 miles (could only manage 12 with a lot of walking and water stops)
Pace 10:20 min/mile

Need to do 16 miles early morning next sunday

We didn't tell anyone we were going skydiving. I was afraid it would be cancelled because of bad weather. My wife was afraid she would not dare go thru with it. In the end it all went really well. Next time we are headed that way I will let you know. Last time we went to Moab (a couple of years ago) there were a bunch of trucks on I-70, because the trucks were in the right lane I could not see the road signs, and I missed the turnoff to Moab. Suddenly we were in Colorado.

Sorry been busy, wanted to say, "wow, that's exciting!" I'm too chicken to try it, but always admire people braver than me.

I've been walking, using my pedometer. Each day I get in between 5000-7500 steps, but not the 10,000 that they recommend.

But I do think of all of you each time I go out for a walk; its like having a bunch of walking buddies. even if you're not there in the flesh, you're there in spirit. smile

I was not going to run this morning because I was up late. I woke up just before 5 am, so I thought I guess I am running this morning. Meet up with the two guys I run with, and ran another 3 miles.
