Hellooooo TEAM! grin

Things have been hectic around here, with my mother-in-law getting a pacemaker and then back in the hospital 19 hours later.

Hopefully they'll help her feel better tonight!

As always I've been swimming. I've added a short slow walk either to or from the pool and that's been nice.

I'm swimming 45 minutes every other day or more.

Go TEAM! clap

Saturday I got up put on my running clothes. My friend that I run with texted me to say he thought it was to slippery on the roads to run outside, and he was going to wait until it warmed up to go running. I had a full day planned so I had to run in the morning. I thought I will walk to the gym and just go on the elliptical. After I got to the main road it was dry so I made a 4 mile run ending at the gym to lift some weights. I am trying to get my shoulder back in shape.

well hello miss molly!! hugss
I've missed this place so much! thanks for the kind words. I think that's the best description when trudging with this AS monkey on my back...sheer grit. cool
Can you believe I have two grandsons now?! how fast does time go? My Sofia is doing very well. She'll be testing 2 grades up for her Pre SAT in 9th grade level at the end of this month. She wants to be an anesthesiologist. She is finishing up her big paper. Topic? She chose Ankylosing Spondylitis. rainbow
I hope you are doing well my friend! Time to warm up these brittle bones! I've been on Humira and it's actually helping my hands a bit. Wish it helped my back more but I'll take any help at this point! Onwards ! roll

30 minutes of walking against the river current in the Rec. Center. This current is enough to give me a good work out, But I did burnt he skin off the balls of me feet....
and I also move my arms under water to give an upper body workout! My knees keep me from swimming.. but I am making progress..

I got 3 new meds today.... increased others...

go team go! Oh yea, I still chip away the snow almost every day.

So Saturday's run was an adventure. I have a cold, maybe the mother of all colds. I decided I was going to go running Saturday morning, and see if I could burn this cold out. Since we are having an inversion here I went up the canyon to run where the air is clear. About every half mile I would have a coughing fit, and have to walk for a tenth of a mile. The run was just over 3 miles, but It involved about 1/2 mile of walking. I guess we do what we can do.

many, many people have asked me about the certain air when with you.... I am glad to see that you are taking much longer to bathing now. But the problem may be that you are using water that others have bathed in as well. Back on the farm we would have to use the same tub of water after 3-4 others.... so please DOW, consider using "fresh" water. I think a 1/4 mile in fresh water could get you clean.

after all cleanliness is not all it is cracked up to be.

also I have heard that you are such a fast swimmer that the water does not have a chance to touch your skin!!!!

luv ya
