Ran 3.1 miles this morning. I was a little faster than normal, and I didn't fall.

Woke up at 5 this morning I thought I don't need to get up this early. I will just lay here for a couple of minutes. A couple of minutes later it was 6:30. I cut my run a little short because of the time. I ran 2.5 miles.

Walked 1 mile around campus in between writing.

The cedar waxwings made the pond magical; if they hadn't been there, it would have been "just another pond". I love these sort of surprises.

I had plans to run this morning. I set my alarm. I am sure my alarm went off, but I did not wake up. Then I had to rush to work. I should be in the wilds of Wyoming today visiting Lon, but to mush to do at work.

yesterday went for a walk (~1 hour, ~1.5-2 mile walk) to see the ospreys at the cell tower. Mom was not happy, let out her distress call for quite some time. Dad flew around us overhead, thankfully no dive bombing! When that didn't work, Mom flew around us overhead, flying a bit lower and lower, so we finally took the hint and walked away. Could see one baby sitting near the nest on the cell tower, not sure if any in the nest or not? But the baby looked full grown and fully feathered, so assuming just a matter of time before they fledge. Though I know more about the habits of song birds than birds of prey.

the pond had a bunch of big frogs that jumped in when we walked around the edge of the pond and one big ole turtle, but no waxwings yesterday.

Then walked around an arts and crafts festival for about an hour.

Today, gonna go take a bike ride soon…saying that so I do….no I've made a commitment that I can't go back on…..

Saturday I ran 6.2 miles to make a 10K. I was planning on running this morning, but I was picking my wife up at the airport last night. The flight was scheduled to be in at 9 pm. The flight was delayed 2.5 hours so I didn't get home until 1 am. I bailed on the run.
