Just wanted to let others know I tried acupuncture, and it was very helpful. I had a spasmed muscle in my buttocks and the needles released some of the tension. I felt much better ( not 100%) but it took the edge off. Might be worth a try for some.

I've considered it. Ran it by my pain doc and she had used a specific practitioner before, so I'd have a name to try). Not sure as to insurance coverage, though. So that's as far as I've gotten. But still thinking about. wink Will do it, eventually. Not concerned about the needles after spending months shooting biologics into my legs. LOL. Thanks for the posts, both of you.

the needles do not hurt.

except for the time when a needle caused muscles around my SI to go into spasm when they stuck a needle into my SI....that one scarred me....

other than that, it didn't hurt. didn't do me any good either, after several months of weekly appointments...

glad i tried it though, if to check it off my list if nothing else.

hope it helps others more than it helped me.
