I'm turning into a bionic woman! I had my second hip replacement four weeks ago (the first was in February this year) and this one went even better. I was out of the hospital in 24 hours and off the pain meds in just over a week.

Looking forward to actually being able to go for long walks (and hikes maybe) before too long!

Hello Wendy,

Great to see you posting. Glad to hear the 2nd hip replacement went well and recovery going well as well.

Hopefully you can take some of those hikes.

Best to you

Tim

Thanks Tim! Who would have thought, seven years ago when I got sick, that RA would destroy both my hips in such a short time!!

Thank goodness for modern medicine and the ability to get replacements!

Congrats on the success of your second surgery. No one wants to endure such things but when they work its a bit of a miracle

May you be hiking and much more in the very near future

Hey Lon - my family is amazing, especially my hubbie who has been looking after me wonderfully. I'm very lucky to have both my sons living in the same property along with three grandchildren. Families are the best!

Thanks for your kind message!

thank you, Cemc! Yes, I recommend hip replacement if you get to the state of disability that I had reached.
