Dear Friends here at KA, I wanted to put this behind as the New Year begins, but it is a sad hurt, the effects of which will last a very long time: I very much regret to inform everyone that Timo Markkanan our beloved benefactor and webmaster has passed away 29 December, 2015.
I do not know about any arrangements at this time, but our whole KA family wishes Timo's many good friends and family the very best and the strength and good will Timo always gallantly displayed.
Peace, and may we each enjoy a HEALTHY and Happier New Year ahead.

Rest in peace, KickAS member # 3, Timo! I loved every minute of administering KA with you as well as collaborating on the forum software and web design of the site. I will forever remember the music of your voice as we discussed the management of KA and how to solve all the problems of the world.
I will be forever grateful for your guidance with AS as well as how to manage KA. You encouraged me to return to college to obtain my Web Development degree. You will be with me when receive that degree, my friend.
Your puns still make me laugh! All my best fairy dust and love to you, Timo!!! RIP

Timo was a good friend to so many of us, and his dedication to making sure we could all access KA, to experience the family that is here, is something for which I will always be grateful. I miss him.

Timo was so dedicated to KA from web admin, helping people with technical support, and providing the needed skeptic's perspective. Will miss his demeanor and support. He has left a legacy here.
