Incredibly sad news. Timo will be greatly missed. He and the rest of admin made me feel not only welcome but like family when I first joined this group 15+years ago. Rest in peace my friend until we meet again...

Oh my god, I can't believe I'm reading this. I haven't been here in weeks due to the holidays and illness, and to come back to this. . . . This is just heartbreaking. He truly was the a huge part of the heart and soul of this group.

What a loss.

Timo's celebration of life will is tentatively being scheduled for for January 16th so as to allow family and friends travel time to attend.

When I receive any more information, I will post in this thread.

Devastating news! I have not checked in for awhile and Holly told some of us through FB....I think I have known Timo since I found KA fifteen years ago or more...he was always supportive and helpful to so many people as KA grew and grew!

My thoughts and prayers for Timo and family, I am sad but thankful to have known him and shared insights and laughs in our battle to kick AS.

Timo was consistently excellent, to me and our group.

I loved hanging out with him in Las Vegas years ago. He was a highlight.

Every now and then he would ask me for a photo he remembered me taking, of a fox I think. I never could figure out what he was remembering. He was great at noticing and noting.

Love you all.

“One final paragraph of advice: do not burn yourself out. Be as I am a reluctant enthusiast…a part time crusader, a halfhearted fanatic. Save the other half of yourselves and your lives for pleasure and adventure. It is not enough to fight for the land; it is even more important to enjoy it… while you can. While it is still there. – Edward Abbey
