Hi Kellybells. I've posted about this book on other threads but I can't recommend it more heartily: "The Keystone Approach" by Rebecca Fett. It explains what is going on in the small and the large intestine and which probiotics are most effective for SIBO and for other autoimmune related ailments.

I ordered the Keystone Approach. I am surprised that it has to be imported from the UK.

Also, I ordered "How Can I Get Better?: An Action Plan for Treating Resistant Lyme & Chronic Disease" by Richard Horowitz hoping it has some good advice on integrated medicine.

Three years later and I'm happy to report that I continue to thrive on what is now more of a low starch diet than a no starch diet.

My starch tolerance has continued to improve over time. I do the 'weed and seed' protocol a few times a year now, which seems to keep the bad bacteria in check.

Not that I stray very far from my LSD, but I do enjoy being able to eat a pizza now and then without having to worry. Most of all, I enjoy being pain free. I feel so much better now than I did in my early 30's, when my joints were sore and stiff and swollen all the time. This site was a game changer for me, and I will always be grateful that I found it.

Suspected USpA. HLA B27, xray, u/sound, blood tests all -ve. Ancient history of plantar fasciitis, SI joint pain, knee arthritis. Recent history of tendinitis, neck pain, debilitating finger pain and stiffness (especially mornings). No diagnosis, no meds.

2010 - stopped eating dairy
2012 - stopped eating wheat
2014 - stopped eating all grains
Jan 2017 - discovered NSD - 98% improvement in symptoms, continually amazed by my results, wish I'd found kickAS sooner

Thanks Basel! Hope your journey is going well too?

I've noticed this forum has gotten very quiet. There was a guy who used to tell everyone diet didn't work so I stopped coming around as much. Guess I'm not the only one. Still, I do check occasionally for new posters. Though thisbthread pretty much captures everything I would tell them lol

Take care

What is the Weed and Seed protocol you use?

Happy to hear you have such good results and improving.

Best,

Tim
