Hi Guys
It's been a long time , but I visit on the rare occasion that I learn something new or is in need of some new info on AS...
Its been many years, but KickAS.org is by far the best on-line
resource for AS there is even though many users have moved
To Fb etc. The Admin and moderators are the best....
Thanks a million for all the work you have done to make this site.
I have learned tons over the years when I knew almost nothing
But a diagnosis that my doc told me.
My Step dad calls me Dr. Lee lol, for all the health research
and discussion we have...

I haven't posted much in the last few years, but it's always good to find out how a KAer is doing. Thanks for checking in. You're right, by the way, This is one of the best places around. Hopefully, we can get folks coming back in here.

Hi Angie.
I appreciate what you are doing. I am sorry j am one who hasn’t been here except fora brief checkin occasionally. I had been active in the FB group but life has kept me from there for a while. My husband’s help deteriorated greatly over a few years. He died about 6 months ago.
My pain is extreme. I also am having trouble walking. I am treating Lupus with IV Benlysta but we aren’t treating the AS and RA now. We can’t treat both so we are treating the Lupus because of severe effects on organs.
I am getting settled in my new home; a little Sr Living apt with my little 13 year old rescue dog. She has Liver cancer and also now has bladder stones. I am going to have to put er down. How quiet and lonely my little home will be.
I am going to make an effort to be here more. This
Site and the wonderful people here helped me so much.

Joyce, lovey, it is so good to see you here. I so wish I could take your pain from you and sorry to hear about your sweet pup. They are family to us and this is one of the hardest parts. Love and light, dear one.

Hello Joyce: Really appreciate your very kind words! I was also away from KickAS for a period of time and when I arrived back was shocked to see an error warning message appear when I logged in. As I had created other websites in my past, I offered to help get KickAS working correctly. May I ask which FB group you mention? I do sometimes visit a FB group but have never seen any other KA members who 'seem' familiar to me. Of course I am sure all who have left KA for FB groups have chosen new names for themselves! I am very sorry your husband passed away 6 months ago and also equally sad to hear your best puppy friend is not feeling well.  Sorry to hear you have extreme pain and difficulty walking. But treating your Lupus makes sense to me. My disclaimer: 'I am not a doctor but don't we all want to be one some day?'
